Principal
Scott joined ROA in 2000 immediately after earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech. Since then, he has worked on a variety of projects, both large and small-scale, specializing in urban infill sites in Alexandria and throughout Northern Virginia. Experience working with development at multiple scales has enabled Scott to work with clients, their land use attorneys, the jurisdictions, and other stakeholders to evaluate options and make practical design decisions to achieve the parties’ objectives. Scott became a principal at the firm in 2015 and is licensed in VA, MD, and DC. When he’s not working, Scott enjoys the occasional paintball battle with his kids and yet another rewatch of something in the Star Wars universe.
