The Linder Academy

Alexandria, VA

Project Details:

On the south end of Old Town, Rust|Orling converted 601 S Washington Street and 607 S Washington Street into the new Alexandria campus for the Linder Academy, a private K-8 school. The buildings were originally built as private homes in the 19th century but most recently were utilized as multi-tenant office buildings. The project reconfigures the interior plan of the separate buildings into a cohesive campus that will accommodate the school’s unique program and contributes to the historic character of the surrounding neighborhood by revitalizing the exterior and interior architectural elements.
