The Henry

Alexandria, VA

Project Details:

To the north of Old Town, Alexandria stands The Henry (formerly The Monarch). The former industrial site now sits adjacent to the Parker Gray Historic District. A garage joins two separate buildings to make this "kingly" mixed-use development. Heterogenous architectural styles and materials visually break up the mass of this striking building and make it compatible within the context of smaller historic townhouses. The Henry features the first machine room-less elevator in the City.
