Hotel Indigo

Project Details:

An Alexandria Waterfront anchor, completed in 2016, the Hotel Indigo was the first project to be constructed under Alexandria’s Waterfront Small Area Master Plan, leading the development of the southside riverfront. The Hotel Indigo site made headlines in 2015 when construction workers unearthed the remains of a 50-foot Revolutionary War era ship. Taking its lead from The Strand Center (an early Rust|Orling project), Hotel Indigo integrates with the historic context of its environs to present a cohesive and familiar feel for tourists and Alexandrians alike.
